Interdependence is a collaborative project born from Liminal Space Collective, where art and environmental stewardship intersect. Our goal is to showcase sustainable, caring, and interdependent futures that foster reciprocity between the Santa Cruz community and our beautiful marine coastal ecosystem. Our belief is that people from all backgrounds and all experience levels can be both sustainability activists and artists.
PORTALS
PORTALS is the continuation of the Impermanence Project begun at the Circle Church in 2023 bringing multifaceted, interactive, immersive, creative, collaborative art and music experiences to the Santa Cruz community.

Darklight Interactive
Darklight Interactive is a game development collective incubated by Liminal Space. PROJECT HEART is a dark, fantastical Moral-Based Action RPG inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Players control Violet and Blue — two fractured friends navigating a mystical spirit realm shaped by memory, grief, and reflection. The game emphasizes emotional storytelling, dual-character gameplay, and meaningful player choice.
Upcycle Productions

Upcycle Productions is a TV and streaming media production group incubated by Liminal Space, focusing on tackling conservation, social justice and political action. Junk Art Scramble is a game show produced by Upcycle, which gathers underserved artists to create multimedia social artwork out of found items, amplifying the voices and building impactful pieces of art.
